To Friends All Over the World,
The La Paz Eco-Village in Todos Santos,
Baja California Sur, Mexico, Baja California Sur, Mexico is almost a reality.
We have a purchase agreement for 350 acres with buildings and several home sites already in place. The
buildings have indoor plumbing and ecologically correct septic systems. We have mature fruit bearing trees
and lots of water for cultivation and more planting for many gardens. We have an average of 350 days a
year of sunshine and rows of batteries just waiting for solar panels to start generating electricity. We have hills on which
to erect beautiful windmills to pump water.
We can have our own school, free from political & religious speeches and agendas and once
again teach our children in a wholesome, loving environment, not the new world order espoused by bankers.
We
will teach workshops on medicinal plants and can easily develop many cottage
industries from the resources at hand right there on the land.
We will have a clinic with nurses and doctors and will teach massage
and alternative medicines and healing modalities.
There
are already 2 nurses onboard. We’ll need a doctor and dentist on call. We already have a licensed
massage therapist on board as well.
We will have a fully staffed kitchen for community meals and for preserving
the organic food grown in the community gardens.
There
will be music and joy and dancing and most of all freedom to be who we are and contribute what we know and do best.

Hawk has worked diligently searching for the perfect place for this community. He found it and almost purchased it. The
papers are being drawn up as I type. The down payment of $70,000.00US is due at the signing of the contract
of on October 30th, 2009.
Unfortunately, we have learned that the promised funding has been withdrawn due to "economic and
health problems" of the man who guaranteed the down payment.
Rainbow Hawk’s dream excites
possibilities. It is within our grasp, but we need funding. We don’t want
to lose this perfect location due to circumstances beyond our control. Can you take a long stride outside
your comfort zone and into the dream?
We need an endowment
for $200,000.00 now to buy the property outright to avoid interest payments.
Or...
We need 9 fully paid members who can
contribute the estimated $25,000 each for complete membership and if possible more to insure success (any extra would be rebated
as other members pay in their shares)
Or...
We need 30 adults to commit to the project at $2,500.00 down and $350.00
per month until $25,000.00 full ownership is reached.
We
need folks from all walks of life, all ages, all skills and talents to make this a reality.
Mature seniors and folks with disabilities on fixed incomes, come and teach what you know and volunteer for ventures
within your capacities. We need young professionals with skills and the desire to create
a better way of life. We need families with children to grow up and learn a new way of life that
is sustainable and healthy. There is always something to contribute. Do you have a craft that you would
love to devote time to and teach to others? Todos Santos is noted for its local artisans. There
is a good market.
Are you ready yet? Things may not improve in the world soon. But here,
right now, on the southern end of Baja, it is safe. There’s nothing here that anyone in "power"
wants.
Come on, guys.
Contribute, donate, buy in, even if you can't move in right away. This
property will pass from one family member to another. Do it, you’ll love it here. Do
it for your children and their children and their children's children.
